Such a nice day, I thought I'd take a few pics of my '50s-era JLC triple-date clock. This one runs like a champ - +10/day! I know there are a few nice Zeniths & Omegas out there too...let's see some more.:)

Here's a Gübelin 8 day travel alarm clock, featuring the most finely finished movement (Geneva waves, four adjustments) that I have ever seen on such clocks…

I'll see that Triple Date and raise you an Atmos:

They are a bit temperamental and difficult to set up, but after service late last year, it's back to near perfect timekeeping. Only have to touch it at daylight savings changes.

    Can't beat that.

I have a few Telechron and Sessions clocks...These are all working, except for the Electroalarm (skyscraper), which probably needs a new rotor.

Gustav Becker Vienna Regulator- Weight driven miniature. Very early serial number which puts it in the first 1% of his production.

I don't really know anything about this clock. It was made in 1960 though. It was a flea market find. 20150503_102721.jpg

Some on here might recognize the jeweler on the dial of this one:

If I recall it's from the late 1800's, and has an 8 day fusee movement...

Ansonia kitchen clock/alarm. Obviously in need of some TLC.

    P1030633.JPG

First part of the job, removing about 100 years of accumulated fireplace smoke, grime and general crud.

    P1030728.JPG

After a complete movement strip down, wash in kerosene, new springs fitted, new case glass transfer and it looks a bit like the day it was first put over the fireplace.

    P1030757.JPG

I managed to preserve/protect the original paper label, as well as a new repro label for the owner's information.

    Seth Thomas circa 1865-70.

Seth Thomas circa 1865-70 (Copy).JPG original dial (Copy).JPG 12.75 inch Plymouth brass movement (Copy).JPG alarm clock (Copy).JPG

Top glass is original or "of the era", it is wavy, the bottom glass must be a replacement.
