Not a very inspiring moonrise tonight:

The clouds soon ate up the moon after this so I packed it in and was heading inside when I saw some nice color off to the west.

Went out to the bridge over Herb Creek for this with my phone:

I missed much of the nice of the nice color recently as I was leaving Collingwood, Ontario (business trip).

I’m not the best photographer, and a black car is especially hard to photograph (for me anyhow). I also don’t have a lot of great scenery around my area so took the opportunity to snap these photos of my 707hp Hellcat powered Grand Cherokee ready for a 5 hour drive home...

Nice car, 707hp is a bit of a beast 😎

If I may offer a suggestion for future images of your car, try and take the image with the car at the back of the frame with space in front of the bonnet rather than space behind the car, this gives the impression that the car is moving through the frame rather than out of the frame.

For example, in the first picture if you took a couple of steps back and a few to your left (if this was possible), then you would have pushed the car back in the frame, hidden that distracting yellow chevron sign and given a better view of the car with that gorgeous sky in the background.

Hope this helps with future images of this awesome car.

Wow, 5 hours of driving at 1 gallon per 15 or 20 minutes = drain a full tank in 5 hours, right?

A little past sunset 🤦

Taken on the east coast of Scotland last week with an iPhone XR

The small light on the horizon is actually a wind turbine.

Time to bring some life back into this thread. Admittedly, I cheated a little with my vantage point, but isn’t it stunning?
