Santorini is a magical place. I have visited a number of times and was once lucky enough to be there to coincide with the volcano festival. Fantastic 馃榾

A magical place indeed! i was going through the photos of that trip to find a sunset pic and it all came back to me... what an amazing place!!!

Had the same view last summer. What a beautiful place. You have to fight for a good spot to catch the sunset though.

I've stood in that exact spot, on an October day, in an absolute cloudburst! Drove from Edinburgh in our rented car, first time driving a RH drive car on the LH side of the road. Got soaked, but enjoyed every minute of it!

What a beautiful thread this is. Really amazing photos.

Unfortunately I do not have any sunset (without watches) pictures to contribute, but I discovered some time ago that sunsets make for very nice watch shots. So here are my contributions:

Edit: I think it's best to keep the watch pics to a minimum in keeping with the spirit of the OP's intention, so I have deleted most of the ones I originally posted.
