2...I usually wear one all day, and then swap one at night before my wife and I give our daughter a bath. Are others a "1 watch kind of guy or gal" or do people switch them up at various points in the day?
Just the one for me on any single day. Speedy or Sub depending on what I am up to. I still feel the pain of choice though with only two. This I expect will get a little worse when my flighty comes back (hopefully soon) from STS. I think some of you out there suffer real pain of choice!!!!! Nice problems to have though...
Sometimes up to three. It's gotten so bad that I almost always bring two to work with me and will switch off throughout the day, only to switch to a third when I get home. I have a problem.
I'll choose one watch to wear during the day, then switch to my beat-up 220 to exercise or do other errands after work
Usually just one in a day. If I have to give my son a bath in the evening, I'll take off whatever watch I am wearing unless it is the Sinn UX or the PO. Sometimes he asks me to wear the Sinn so he can pour water on it and wash it, so I have to swap it for whatever Omega I wore that day.
Well, today (and yesterday, and for three days before that), i have worn two watches, together, for 24-hours each day. These two. Somebody commented one day that I was wearing two watches. Doesn't everybody?
On vacation..... 3-4 x a day One watch for breakfast coffee One for the pool And one for dinner This does not count strap and bracelet changes
On average, I will swap to three different watches in a day. Morning shift with patients, swap at lunch for the afternoon shift, then again when I get home in the evening. My staff used to make fun of me for it, now they have changed tactics and make fun if they notice I didn't switch out at lunch.
I've worn four watches [at the same time on the same day]...two wrist watches and two pocket watches...good times! I don't routinely wear four watches at the same time...but I do wear two watches at the same time quite often. Pics below from last December while visiting my Uncle Jim [a watchmaker/clockmaker/collector] in Wisconsin. EDIT ADDITION: For the record, I learned the art of wearing multiple watches at the same time from my Uncle Jim in the early 1970s...it was not uncommon for him to be wearing six wrist watches [three on each wrist] along with two pocket watches...the dude is a monster!
One a day, unless I didn't wear my CFTVDS*, in which case I will switch back to that upon returning from a hard day at the salt mine. Everything else feels so thin and light in comparison. *Chunky Funky TV Dial S*********r
I generally wear two a day if the morning starts off with the beater watch. If not started with the beater it's one till zzz
One.......except there is special ocassion, then two.........oh and if there is GTG then ten ........
