• Hi ALL I've been eyeballing this 50's Leonidas can some1 tell me what to look for or not to look for.I'm a little suspicious of it because it looks too perfect to be legit for it's age. OK FOUND OUT THE CASE WAS RE-PLATED

 

With the large subdials you can usually tell if the dial has been re-done as the printing (especially outside circles) tends to be smaller than the actual sub-dial circumference. Also, not sharp. These seem to be printed nicely into that space. Are there any additional pics?

 

Yes there are more pics but I just heard from him & he said it had been re-plated (the case). So I'm gonna pass on it.
