I bought this for $300 including shipping from a bookstore in chicago not working condition it included a stainless speidel expandable...
Opened it and found out that the only problem was the screw holding the stem was loose so it would not wind and hold power...after tightening it, the watch runs like it came brand new...i also replaced the blue colored glass that it came with since it hides and makes blurry the cream colored dial...
Was replacing the glass a good or a bad idea? What about the dial should it be restored or i just keep it as it is? the marks on the dial dont bother me though...but will these marks worsen in time? Need some expert advice thanks a lot...
