    Hi,
while i was looking for a Leonidas Tripledate Moonphase, i was offered a Leonidas Triple Date without Moonphase. The seller says, tinge watch is from around 1960 and there is the number 686571 or 686671 number on the case.

I didn't found anything about this watch, is it a fake? Do you have infos about this watch?

I am no Leonidas expert, but I've never seen a triple-date Leonidas without a moonphase. The moonphase was sort of their signature complication. However, Heuer did offer a triple-date model with a subseconds hand. And, of course, Leonidas and Heuer merged in the mid-1960s. Perhaps your watch is a result of those companies working together.

The dial has been refinished. This significantly affects the value. Consider looking for another example.

Would also say refinished. I prefer steel or solid gold, 14 or 18k, but I guess the price reflects that aswell.

I have a Val. 72C Leonidas from the '40s. Totally different watch, but what the hey. The dial on the first one shown is a poor redial.
