When you have collected watches for some time, you get more and more appealed by accessories. Bands, bracelet, boxes, buckles, paperworks etc. I like Lemania watches, and given their relatively low production numbers, their accessories are really, really hard to come by. I remember several years ago, at least 7, a fellow collector up north in Sweden, who sold a Lemania s/s buckle on eBay, and he started the auction description stating "Yes, they exist!". I have sold one buckle on eBay too, I think it was 2 years ago, and I was pretty stunned by the outcome, which was, if I recall it correctly, USD 120! For a buckle! So, as promised to @Northernman in another thread containing Lemania, here some nice Lemania accessories A Lemania certificate of warranty: Opposite side, a list of AD´s: A cloth bag to put on the (watch) head Some boxes: A somewhat nicer box: Suitable for storage of military surplus An even nicer box for a 18K dresswatch: Some space also for jewelleries (pretty clever, considering how many watch boxes that has been used to house jewelleries, when that was not the intention for the box!) A NOS Lemania band: The buckle: Another band and buckle: A black one too: A hang tag still on a NOS watch from the 40ies: And to finish off, a nice chrono from the late 50ies. Houses the Lemania cal 2320 (=Omega 321)
View attachment 132095 This is gorgeous. Your collection of Lemania watches and accessories is museum worthy.
wow-fabulous collection Here's a Lemania military I don't see in your group do you know what it is? The case back should give the answer away
Inspiring collection. I would assume it took several years to amass these items given their scarcity. Pretty cool stuff.
I'm starting to understand the lure of vintage collecting with those three droolworthy watches. Beautiful!
As a matter of fact it is. 2451 HF-case. The movement is 2520 though, not 2320 as previously stated. My bad
I made this thread as a tribute/ acknowledgement to him as a fellow Lemania collector. I also provided to him the Tg 195 he has in his collection. Maybe we can meet up in Denmark in August
Beautiful collection and accessories and as the others have said that last chrono looks wonderful and indeed deserves a thread of its own
It's just amazing to see the variety and quality of your collection Master Lemaniac Martin! As you have seen the TG195 is in good hands and careful use, I suggest that you always keep me in mind if you tire of any of the above (or other related) objects in the future ! I am intrigued by the date @ 6 40s watch. Is it a caliber DS27 or 2990? I assume DS27 as being from the 40s.
I hope you noted the button in the case at 2 o'clock. It's for rapid setting of the date. Not bad for a watch from the 40ies, huh? I mean Omega introduced that feature in the late 60ies
