Lemania Chronograph BBC Issued This unusual Lemania chronograph is in fabulous condition with a strong radial brush finish on the plated case and an engraving on the caseback that is from its life at the British Broadcasting Company. I believe these watches were issued to outside broadcasters for use in the field, and much like military watches returned to stores when not in use. This is one of the last few that were purchased before the practice came to an end. The Case The case is plated with a radial brush finish, and the case back is clearly engraved with BBC and the stock number. All original and unpolished and in great condition. The Movement The movement is clean and bright and working well. No service history The Dial The dial is beautiful with a blue finish and grey sub dials. Orange chronograph hands for the seconds and minutes, and Omega style baton hands for the hours and minutes.
