I have been offered this rare 1950s Lemania chronograph powered by the cal 15tl movement. On the dial on top of Lemania is Cartier. Not surei if its original or if Cartier sold the brand before. I can't find any information on the net. I would appreciate anyone who assist in shedding light on this watch. Thanks.

Cartier sold numerous brands with their logo on them. It's possible but almost impossible to confirm.

Thanks. My concern is the font used is not similar to the what Cartier uses.

Tapaptpat on Instagram knows his Lemania's. Tag him. He can to the last Time4apint with a couple. I would do but still learning how the tech on the forum works.

I believe its bern redialed. Look at the numbers at the 9 o'clock sub dial. Very crude and out of position.

I agree with last post. A redial. Several markers. Subdials is one of them.
Movement is not 15tl but rather it’s predecessor caliber 2010 or 2030 as it has got incabloc (numbers according to the Lemania catalogs).
Dates it to late 40s/early 50s.
    Cheers.
