    Hi,

Can this still be purchased on anywhere except ebay? I'd like to know if there is a cheaper option to buy.

I wish the mini figures had more detail. I understand why they wouldn't want to redesign the helmet piece, but at least need details on the arms and legs like mission patches and pouches. Even a non-Speedmaster watch would have been nice. I'll probably get it anyways for the Lunar Lander, looks good to pair with the Saturn V.

Ordered the Lunar Module Lego set a few minutes ago. Will be added to the collection of "Daddy, you put it together and I'll play with it when you are done" space-related Lego sets :D

Got that one too, it was a real pleasure to build! I wanted to try modify it to have it with Apollo 11 or Apollo 13 colors but did not have the time yet to see how to do it.

Also, I wanted to have it next to the LUT, but I wasn't 100% satisfied with the one on lego idea, so I used its file as a basis and start modify it with Bricklink Studio to have it more accurate. Sadly, I am not a lego creator. It is a bit of a nightmare to have it right...

Maybe I'll get the LM until I'll go back to work on the LUT :D

Picked one up today at the mall! Restricted to one per household to stop flippers, I guess

LEGO almost went under. They restructured to a design centric operating model and have never looked back. Easily one of the most admired and valuable brands today.

I ordered one of these for my son, to give him with a 1998 birth year 3572.50 for college graduation next year. He actually wants the Moonwatch more than something like a POLMLE or GSOTM.

I was thinking of putting the Lunar Module together and mounting the watch on it, to present to him that way. Maybe even better, I'd have the two astronauts holding the watch up in front of the lander.

Is that included with every order, or only ones made a few days ago? I don't see it in my order from earlier today.

I think the larger freebies will appear on the invoice - but the smaller stuff, I recall doesn't.

I love the gift idea. Is there an option for the watch to fit inside the LM?

Thanks. I chatted with Lego support last night - although I signed up for a VIP account I didn't have it attached to my purchase (hadn't been assigned a VIP # yet). They got it fixed and are sending the patch too.

The LM opens up to put the astronauts inside, so I'll put the watch in there.
