    I guess the Neapolitans are not big Saturn V fans judging by the 3 kits sitting on the shelf at the Lego store.

    I pick up the kit today and since I'm a transitional kind of guy I'm going to leave one piece off and build the first 1968 piece transitional Saturn V. In ten years this kit will cost 20 times as much as it does today because of the rare 1968 piece count vs 1969.

    That was fun. Especially the part where I had parts left over after finishing some bags and had to figure out where they were supposed to go. (Sometimes there were just extra pieces. Surprise!)

    I've got a small beef with Adam right now. He's got a 3313 POC, and now seems to mostly wear an SKX. The POC has a great story... It was the only big purchase he made after they had solidified and started making money from Mythbusters.

    My issue is the space suit props he builds, in which on video he very clearly and somewhat proudly states he uses a replica on both his mercury 7 and Apollo suits (very poor replicas at that.) Then he has also stated at least twice that an 861 is not a real moonwatch. OK I get the 861 and 321 distinction and I admit getting the correct watches for those suits is no longer exactly cheap, but he built them 3 years ago when they where more affordable. As someone who has made a lot of money from a show that actively works to prevent pirating of its content from both Mythbusters and the paywalled Tested content, I think its a little hypocritical to brag about using replica watches.

    Its a small beef, and I really like the guy and what he stands for, he is smart, and talented in many areas outside of presenting on TV. It just irks me about his use of fake watches.

    I think he does that now because he got called out badly on a few other sites about the fake Speedmaster.

    Neither is the watch he uses.:thumbsup:

    Very soon, around 2017 07 07, you can support this project at LEGO Ideas and make it become an official LEGO set!

    BTW these too are being scalped on eBay but after calling lego they confirmed that there are plenty more in production and they just underestimated initial demand.

    @TLIGuy

    Thanks I'd not seen any follow up on it. I assume rpf and tested forums was where he got called out.
