Hello new here recently purchased my first vintage omega on eBay was just wondering if this is legit I have 30 days to return it, and I believe the crown is a replacement. Also anyone have any tips removing the back so I can get a picture of the movement also. I’ve tried prying with a legit watch back remover and I can’t for the life of me get it in a good enough indent to get it off and I’m worried about giving it a deep scratch. Thank you!!

The repainted dial looks really bad. I would return asap assuming you can return it for any reason.

Agree. If you have 30 days to return - return immediately. Would be interested to see the description on eBay.

Movement and case are OK, although you need to pay attention to the rust forming at the edges.

Much of the value and most of the charm of a vintage watch reside in the dial. This one as noted above has been repainted and not in a way that stands more than a cursory comparison with the original. Return this and before you make another purchase first take a look at what an original example looks like so you are forewarned and forearmed.

As several people have said, the watch is genuine but the dial is terribly repainted. If this wasn’t mentioned in the description I’d return it.

Hopefully the seller never finds out you opened the watch before you return it.

Please pay attention to the orientation when closing the caseback. The right side in your last photo with the flat indent is the crown side.

The eBay listing did not claim the dial to be original, and the seller doesn't seem to expect returns either. I would nicely ask and see what response you get.
