Dear All,

Is this Omega Seamaster De Ville seems legit to you.
I don't have pictures of the movement. To me it seems to be OK but i just want to make sure it is.
Seller is asking 350€. It was not serviced since years
Thank you for your help

Yes it’s legit. Even the crown is correct. Just make sure the lugs haven’t been resoldered - i can’t tell if it’s dirt/shadow or soldering marks on the photos.

I can't see it. If I purchased it it will be online
For the lugs I thint is only dirt.
What do you think about the price ?
Is it worth it ?
Thank you for your reply 😊

Price seems about right, as long as you're ok with the condition and prepared to pay for a service.

The price is good if the lugs are intact IMO

Yes but it is hard to see from pictures I will ask for more
It could be dirt since the watch was apparently forgotten since years.

The condition is no so bad, isn't it?
It is ry and need a service but the gold plated seems to be OK. The dial seems to be clean small patina.
For the price it seems to be acceptable ?

It may well just be dirt, it probably is. But I believe the gold capped versions of this watch had the lugs soldered onto the case rather than being one piece. As a result, the lugs are prone to snapping off.

It just concerns me that there are significant dark areas around the lugs but not so much dirt in the various recesses of the caseback.

Condition is entirely a personal choice, and I think that the photos show the condition honestly.

It is VERY much in need of a service. If it got that dirty (enough that the lugs look like that), then it hasn't been serviced in quite a while. A mechanical watch needs a pretty costly service every ~5-10 years. For a 3 hander, expect about $300, assuming it doesn't need parts.

Here are the pictures of both sides of the watch, what do you think resoldered ?
You might be right

Pictures are still small and of poor quality, but at leas that lower-left lug (top right of the watch?) looks like it was soldered back on to me.

Those pictures are terrible. It’s impossible to say for certain one way or another but it certainly doesn’t prove they haven’t been re-soldered.
