All, I've been asked by a friend for some help. They have a friend who is unwell and wants to buy a speedmaster as a legacy for their child. Does anyone have a recommendation for a Berkshire dealer based on service quality (this needs to be perfect for obvious reasons). I've suggested a boutique but they are all in London and too much of a travel challenge. Anyone got suggestions?

Have you thought about buying on here or eBay? I’ve bought most of my watch led through eBay.

A 60th anniversary edition might be nice, depends on your budget.

Mr blond, thank you. As it's a legacy they want a new watch and selecting it is going to be an emotional part of the process, so they really want a local ad.

Whilst still requiring some travel, I would like to recommend dealing with Rob at C.S. Bedford, a family-owned and run jewellers. The store itself is not elaborate, but the service will be of the highest level.

There is one retailer in the Reading Oracle I visited, on the lower floor. They did have a 57 Speedy date in the window.

Had the misfortune to be in Reading today, swung past the retailer, they still have the 57 Speedy Date available in the window.
