    Hi Guys,
I found this Lecoultre watch online but I couldn't find much information on it.
It seems to be a military model looking similar to the JLC WWW.
I was wondering if anyone would know more about this model and if it is a legit Lecoultre.
Any information you can share is more than welcome.
    Thanks!!

    If it's coming from Vietnam...

    Lots of reasons it's a put-together fake.

Complete fake. Go on MWR (Military Watch Ressource Forum) for proper info on those military issued watches. Also one authoritative source on vintage JLC/ LeCoultre watches is Zaf Basha’s book.
He also answers questions on his website, www.classicwatchdc.com.

wasn't "LeCoutre" the American market label, any British war department issue would be have the full JLC logo on the face and the movement. (mine did)

Why didn't he throw RAF and USMC on the back for good measure.

Smell like mightily stinky fish to me!

and the case finish is shitty. trying too hard to look like brushed metal. All of my military stuff has had a very fine finish. Like someone brushed the finish on a civilian watch for that army man look.

and there's the remains of a JL crest on the crown... that wouldn't belong with a "LeCoutre" would it?

and there a movement screw missing...

you get the picture... its a good deal at $29... any more and its a rip off.

now is the time where you run away screaming like a little girl. (my favorite part actually)

now why in the hell did I sell my JLC RAF watch.... talk about a stupid move, I must have a beer and consider this.

Keep this kind of opinion for yourself if you don't know about the watch you could mislead someone. Watch is all fake put together shit.

I've seen many of these fakes on Ebay lately.
