Evening, decided that I would like a brown leather strap for my speedy. A rugged looking type. I don't want to spend a fortune maybe £40 ish. Any suggestions ?

Take a look at Hirsch. I put a golden brown Grand Duke on my blue Seamaster; very sturdy strap, water resistant...6mm thick and has a one year warranty. I paid $60 USD for it, so should be in your price range. www.hirschstraps.com

 

Bulang & Sons, and Heuerville make great straps! B&S are about $109 and typically take a few days, but Heuerville ralley straps are about 14 weeks last time I ordered.
