Hi, After many years of bodging the the old 'cam-ends' onto normal straps I'd like to treat myself to an original. The problem being that I don't really know what the strap's called or what to ask for. 15 years ago or so an omega dealer told me that they were still available in sharkskin if that helps any. Thanks
here you go. it was my daily 'driver' until I dropped it Now, I'm a Seiko man.... until I get it fixed. I love this watch,
I've been reusing the same ones over and over again. As I understand it they came attached to the strap though?
I can't help with the strap but a) that's a cool watch, and b) it would look great on stainless mesh. The pop up on eBay occasionally.
impressive buckle haul! what strap would you go with on them? mesh? I always like the look of watch-leather-clasp. Since my chronostop's worn on the inside of the wrist it looks good to have the Omega buckle on the outside IMO.
They fit these straps; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NOS-Omega...637958?hash=item281ae0e446:g:MqkAAOSwKIpWEuA~Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NOS-Omega...054891?hash=item281e3dbeeb:g:TB0AAOSwdzVXsNcrPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
I doubt you'll be able to find an original two piece 18mm/16mm straps for the Chronostop. Solutions are to keep doing what you're doing (and what I'll be doing), or you can send the clasp to http://www.steveostraps.com/ See some discussion here. https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-clasp-ref-27.48177/#post-575277
