Was something about them a while back. With a link to a review but forget who by . Went down the rabbit hole for a few minutes. Noticed you could buy all five for 25K

I think there was a post about these at one time or another, but couldn’t find it either.

Getting back to the subject at hand - what Omega sees as a limited release is pretty amusing.

Grey dealers should be able to get about 20% off?

To quote the Omega sales schmutz, "Only 2,032 versions of each model have been created, representing the year 2032, which will be OMEGA’s 100th year as Official Timekeeper"

A nice touch that Omega has decided to celebrate its 100th year of Omega Olympic timing with an(other) LE :D, bit of a shame they've decided to do it 14 years too early though   ::facepalm2::

One positive, at least we should get another LE in 2032 to celebrate the 14th anniversary of the 100th year anniversary LE.....:p

I think they are ok looking, but nothing that really speaks to me. On another note, with all the limited editions coming out soon the non limited editions will be so sparse they will be pseudo LE.

So it's five LE's released to date. Wonder what's the number by the end of the year.

you know, I went to the OB to pick up my speedy tuesday and asked if they have these in stock and they said they are not released yet. Like whats the point of having an olympics watch if you can't sell it during the olympics?!

Who would want to collect all five of those pretty much identical watches?
Or who would want to collect all five of those watch straps?

From the images in the first post they look like some kind of miyota-driven $300 microbrand. Not saying that's a bad thing necessarily, simply acknowledging that someone, or maybe a whole team of someones, at Omega has the fun job of identifying niche markets to penetrate.

I went to Bucherer in Copenhagen who has them. Three were by themselves in a cabinet and while I looked at them a sales person quickly came to my aid assuring me that the last two was also available. Pheeeew... for a minute there I was worried.

To me these are pretty far from anything Omega has done earlier and honestly they didn’t look like $5k watches. The coloring, the hands etc. I though looked cheap.

I also think these will be available for yeeeeeaaars to come. The Olympic Editions are confusing and it’s like Omega does not have a clear strategy. They release these 5 models, then the box set only, which look slightly different, then two PO’s, and an Aqua Terra. I am probably forgetting a couple. Why not just have two? A sports and a more dressier option?

    Come on Omega...

I bet someone at Omega just read your post and went: “Ahhh crap, I had a feeling something was off”

But then again it just like celebrating your 30th birthday, when you turn 24. And then probably celebrate it again, when you actually turn 30. Completely normal. People do it all the time :D
