No, this is not a brand. Ébauche is the generic term for a watch movement supplied by a firm other than the name on the dial of the finished watch. In this case, no pun intended, the experts believe it is an ETA (this is a brand) movement.
If have a French chrono with ébauche on thé dials (landeron 248
My other franchies in do believe are eta but no ébauche on thé dials. Love those watches. POP is a brand I like: this one is Besançon , thé pw. But i am no expert but isn't that An ETA in thé diver?

That is an eta on the diver. This type of case is a bit later than the ones I have with the same type dial I think.
