I’m disappointed. This thread should have stayed serious. Folks should have tried to answer Mr. STANDY’s questions. Rubles, indeed! The poor guy asks for help and what does he get….

The watch is definitely and without doubt a vintage Omega Seamaster. I estimate it’s value at $462.88 in United States Dollars.

I’m sorry but you’re waaay off. I can buy one of these for $200 (although I can’t show anyone actually selling one that cheaply and last time I checked values was 15 years ago) but I wouldn’t sell mine for less than $800.
I’m gonna make sure to tell all the new members that they are crazy for even entertaining buying at such high prices but won’t sell mine for the insanely low prices I say that I could find them.

How many time can you wind the Seamaster without breaking the the watch. Should I wind it 10 rotations, six times a day, or just shake the watch a few times in the morning?

I now see that this is the very rare Crud at 54 model- there were only 3 of these made. I can speak with such authority on this as I read an article by Hondinkee about it.

Can we get a movement shot with the serial number blurred? Also blur the Reference number, just to be safe.

I belonged to my father’s uncle’s cousin and it means the world to me. The guy at the estate sale where I got it said it was worth $2k. I want to sell it here to someone who will love it and will let if go for $3k which is a deal but don’t have 200 posts yet so this is a veiled for sale post.


Sorry to inform you but it’s a redial. Notice the no “T” s at Swiss Made and the spacing in the A in Omega.
Hands are wrong, second is too short
The crown is a replacement and the crystal looks like a generic replacement.
The lugs are bars of soap.
Also the movement looks like it’s been dragged behind a car for 3 blocks on Rhode Island streets (apparently worst roads in America)

And it’s gold Cap not gold….
