Hi tr2 and welcome to the forum! You found the right place to ask advice on omega's. I did a quick search and it seems like there's one watch connected to Lawrence of Arabia in the Omega Museum in Switzerland. Here is the thread: https://omegaforums.net/threads/a-trip-to-the-omega-museum-in-bienne-switzerland.9931/#post-116309 Pictures of the watch in question always help us tremendously! Oh and nice car btw! My MGA says Hi . Cheers, Max
Nice. I was under the impression that Lawrence wore a West End in combat. He is supposed to have special ordered a number of West End trench watches that he gave out to his commanders in the field.
I know original vintage is the coolest but if you like this piece, keep your eyes open on a very limited and very $$$$ by Omega possibly during Basel. word is that retail will be more than what Omega paid for the one in their museum. lol
