So came across this stunning piece and had to buy on impulse. Curious as to what you guys think of it! Only weird thing is the T Swiss T on the dial.... I don't get how there still is a Rose Symbol with a tritium dial... Let me know what you think!

    Also Crown check anyone?

Can anyone tell me what the suitable oyster bracelet should be for this?

    Thank you!

Hi. I saw this watch on the 'Bay but then I had some misgivings about the dial. Ultimately, the problems I have to do the same issues: the mark T SWISS T is wrong for this watch. I did my homework as I already own one of these and nowhere did I come upon the T SWISS T marking. I would have believed T SWISS MADE T was possible. Then I started looking very closely at thius one and noticed that the Ts are misaligned aligned with SWISS and with each other plus they're not the same white tone as the other letters. I could dive into the weeds noting a slight difference between the counterweighted center bar of the T as being different than the T in OYSTER but that would mean diving too deep into the weeds (I'm a graphic designer so I really do notice this nit-picky stuff). But... do I really think someone went to the trouble to mess around with the dial and just made a clumsy mistake? Doubt it! Maybe it's just a quirky thing that passed through QC at Rolex in the early 1960s. I though do hate that the seller failed to fully disclose the mangled back (grrrr!). Now the good: This is the nicer of the two dials that the 7967 had, the other one (the one I own) has marks for minutes which I think diminishes the elegance (it's a small difference but...). There's a ton of recent interest in this underappreciated timepiece after the character Roger Sterling wore it in MadMen but the price is still very modest (esp. compared to a Polerouter, in it's class and also reasonable). In fact, I named mine "Roger" because in honor of John Slattery! Here's a link: https://www.christies.com/features/Watches-worn-by-Mad-Men-6901-1.aspx and another https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/in-depth-the-watches-of-mad-men-season-five-courtesy-of-the, also check out the people who are mad about the watch because it is so congruent with Genta's Polerouter https://omegaforums.net/threads/ok-ill-bite-who-has-got-the-genta-polerouter-connection-proof.31388/. Enjoy this watch — it's not perfect but I think your price was fair (I wish you'd hit the $635 sweet spot). Also, check out the other watches in the tuxedo series ref. 7950 and 7995 (there are others but ugh!). Sorry to ramble but the Tudor 7967 has remained my first great love. Be well. And no, my avatar isn't MadMen inspired — it just happens to look that way.
