I am hereby putting a pre-war cal. 27 Tissot Antimagnetique up for sale.





I've owned the watch for a few years and worn it sparingly. I have had it serviced at a hobby watchmaker recently for peace of mind and used perhaps once or twice since then. The mid-case is made of chromed metal with steel bezel and caseback. It presents very well and only when putting together this post did I notice the "Fond Acier Inoxydable" denoting a chromed case - it is without flaking or significant wear.







The watch takes a 16mm strap on the wire lugs and has a diameter of 33mm. The crown is of the correct type - I do not know if it has been replaced at some point, but the watch seems rather unspoiled so I would imagine it is the original.




The dial is two-tone cream/silver and the hands are blued and lovely. There is some loss of print at 28 on the minute track and some aging to the dial, most notably next to 2 o'clock.







The cal. 27 has been recently serviced, though I give no guarantees of timekeeping, etc, nor have I measured any such. The two serial numbers (on inner caseback and on movement) point to a build date in 1937-38.


I am asking €310 for this Tissot via PayPal, tracked shipping included. I will be happy to take returns within a week of receiving the watch. Watch and I are located in Denmark, EU.

Very nice. I thought it said Automatic and saw the movement and thought that’s not right

 

Maybe I should move down to the street where Troels lives. =( what a great piece

 

Very cool piece and in great shape, sad I missed this. Checked at lunch and was probably a few minutes too early!
