I've been hunting for a 1986 Speedmaster for over a year now and have come to realize that while I enjoy the elongated S and R on the 145.022/145.0022, I prefer the warmth of the tritium on the speedmasters from the 90s - whereas the tritium on the 80s speedmasters looks almost yellow-green.

I wonder if there was a "transitional" period where Omega switched over to the newer tritium, but still used the older dial style?

I appreciate any information!
