I’ve been monitoring prices for the original first version Datograph in platinum, which happens to be one of the holy grails for me. Wow, it seems that over the course of last year the average price went from 40k to 65k... what’s happening? Do you think these are really the new selling prices?
EVERYTHING has increased over the last few years…. But there is certainly more and more interest in the earlier ALS pieces… because they represent SO much value for your $$$ I mean, it is very difficult (at least for me), to justify 100k or even 80k for a FPJ Chrono Bleu, when you can get a Pt Dato for less than that.
I'm somewhat bias but IMHO the Lange Up & Down maybe the best buy of all. Yes, I have the Rose Gold version
The 1815 chrono was the "used" bargain of the last few years. It has now found its rightful comparative value. Still an amazing piece that can hold its own in any company
