This is a very reluctant sale but this beautiful piece has to go.
Here we have a Langè 2014 in Pink gold 1815 flyback chrono model 402.032.The watch is in excellent condition .
The movement is the exceptional, manually-wound Lange manufacture calibre L951.5, which uses the same base calibre as the Datograph and features a shock-resistant balance wheel and in-house manufactured balance spring oscillating at a frequency of 18,000 semi-oscillations per hour. Expertly constructed from 306 parts and using 34 jewels (including 4 in screwed gold chatons), this mechanical marvel is equipped with a column wheel flyback chronograph boasting a precise jumping minute counter. When fully wound, it offers a practical power reserve of 60 hours.
Revealed through a sapphire caseback, the manufacture calibre L951.5 is entirely decorated and assembled by hand. The plates and bridges are made of untreated German silver, whilst the hand-engraved balance cock is simply exquisite and demands closer inspection. An absolute spectacle to behold, this exceptional movement is sure to take the breath away of even the most seasoned aficionado.

Included is all paper work , box, books ect. Plus 2 after market Langè gold buckles.
The original strap and buckle are in good condition as I did not wear the watch often.

The watch is in Australia, postage and insurance to be discussed.
Any questions or photos just ask.
For an Australian buyer I will include the Langè dealers handbook.

Asking $42K.USD

I have a few watches but only one car so it's not a difficult decision to make.
First choice would be a C8 Corvette BUT here in Australia the cheapest used one is $240K Aud (2018) and a up to 4 + year wait for a new one !

Collectable? Well that would depend how long you intend to keep it, at first you’ll need to go trough to devaluation cycle, which can take some years, only once the market has bottomed out can you really consider it as collectable.
As the value starts to rise, pushed by others collectors can the car be considered collectible. It can take some considerable time for the values to recover beyond the original purchase price, in the meantime the car has costs.
These costs are maintenance, repairs, financial, storage, registration, deterioration with use or simply over time etc.
The financial costs can be either direct, such as insurance, loans etc. or indirect, like how much more would you be better off with that money invested in a more conventional asset.
Storage costs can be an odd one depending upon your individual circumstances, if you’re paying directly to store the car such as either renting the space or building a garage to house it then that’s one thing, but there are other less tangible costs like dealing with the pain and suffering of She who must be obeyed’s disapproval ( not to be underestimated )

Realistically apart from a very few, new cars could ever be considered collectible at the purchase price,
They may be desirable, which in my mind is a totally different thing than collectible.
Desirable is where the true enthusiasts lie, they don’t give a rats arse about investment value, they do it outta the enjoyment of it.
An enthusiast may well have a collection, but the opposite also applies in that a collector may well not necessarily be an enthusiast!
This is why I dislike the term collector as it implies that one might just be another money grubbing investor wanker, who achieves little other than pushing the prices up beyond the enthusiast…… and due to the hidden costs listed, earlier in this post , these speculative pricks, rarely make a real profit. They just fυck it up for the rest of us.

A jihad upon speculator investor tosspots!
