·I just couldn't help myself and got another early Lanco quartz. Caseback has 105001 engraved which is likely the reference.
It appears to have at least following button functions:
Wearing it gives me a total 1960/1970s scifi movies vibe! Next time I'm visiting Comicon, I think I know what I'll be wearing on my wrist! 😀 I can only imagine how it must have felt to own one of these early digital quartzes when they were first launched! Come to think of it, it somehow reminds me of Cyclons from the BSG (especially the original series).
Also, found a calog(ish) image which I think includes this watch (one in the middle).
It appears to have at least following button functions:
- click top button: show current time (hh:mm)
- double click top button: shows date (1..31)
- hold top button: show running seconds (ss)
- hold bottom button: set hour (value advances every second)
- hold top button + hold bottom button: set minutes
- double click top button and hold, then hold bottom button: set date
