A family heirloom has unfortunately got a damaged quartz movement from a leaking battery.
Does anyone have an affordable replacement movement.

53335793 is the serial number which dates the watch to ca 1991.

No face (dial) photo?

I have been playing with the early quartz movement. Takes patience, but parts are out there.

This one might be late enough that a swappable ETA movement might have been used. This day and age, there is a trend for disposeability. Most battery swappers can not tell the difference between a high end metal plate watch, and a plastic injection molded one. So it is easy to just treat them all the same.
