Friends, what do you make of this ?

I've not yet seen it in real life, will post more pics when I do. Pin holes ? If it's real might the case have been custom made ? I ask because Google shows me little similar apart from some reasonably recent square dials / batons. Do Omega ever authenticate watches ?
