It is too small for my wrist. What is the best way to pursue having it lengthened?

Hi, are you referring to a metal bracelet?

If so, provided you have extra links a local watchmaker can adjust for you.

If you can post a picture we can better help you.

Thanks for your response. I don’t have extra links so I’d appreciate any suggestions in that regard. Thanking you in advance-

You would need to go to an Omega boutique or authorized dealer, and they can order the links for you and install them.

However, the stamp on the clasp is unusual and so is the appearance of the watch case. I am concerned that this watch may not be genuine. Do you have any papers or cards it came with?

No- no papers, only the box. Would a boutique or authorized dealer be able to definitively confirm

No, no papers- only the box, sans anything in the card case. Would a boutique or authorized dealer be able to confirm or deny authenticity?

Yes, once the caseback is removed, they and you will know for sure.

I might be wrong, but it looks just "off" enough to merit checking.

It's also odd the the bracelet center link 'hinges' aren't gilded

Thanks for your observations- much appreciated. Would you recommend an authorized Omega dealer over an Omega Boutique?

Wonder if its a subcontracted optional band manufactured or at least marked for use on Omega ladies watches.
I got the impression that ladies models weren't held in high regard by the major manufacturers, with prices of components held down. They seem more interested in looks than in overall quality of components.
Thats just an impression based on very limited observation.

I had to buy a link for my 3523.80 (a speedmaster reduced case) for my 7 3/8 wrist. I went to the boutique and they shipped it to me. I think a trip to the boutique will save you some hassle with authenticity and ensure you get the proper width link to extend your bracelet. Dealer can probably tell you, but not all have the staff on hand for the sizing for your model.

I went to the boutique to keep from getting the "run around" (and look at watches, who knew?!) but many dealers can handle it with the right parts. A call ahead may save some time. Enjoy your watch!
