    Hello,

please advise if this watch is authentic? I was looking for this watch model for years and i got offered it recently. The seller cant guarantee that its 100% authentic because he says its arround 70 years old but he gurantees that he didnt exchange anything since he purchased it. He also provided some kind of background history that he got handed over from the initial owner of the watch. After the WW the initial owners father purchased the watch from a german soldier or something like that.

I have the anniversary edition of this watch, produced in 2000 from laco themselves, out of new old stock parts, limited to 75 pieces wolrdwide but i would much rather have one that served in the battlefield. The seller wants to trade the two watches and i shall add 600 USD.

Here some pictures. They were all provided from the seller. He said that the backgrounds varie because of the different owners documentations and he collected everything. (

The best thing you can do is to take it to a reputable auction house, with whatever paperwork you have and get them to advise whatever their estimate would be.

I can't tell from the photos if the movement number is matching to the case - if not I would pass personally.

I have no idea where you are located, but if you are so inclined you might want to speak to Andy at Time World Services - he specializes in servicing these watches and might be able to tell you what to look for:
