I have worked very hard for a long time to get to a point where I can finally get the watch of my dreams. My dad has an old 60's speedmaster and I've longed for one for quite some time. Not to wax poetic, but I really want the real deal. Meeting with him tonight and looking forward to it.
Yeah really,. five minutes with Google and we can see the problem isnt George... Welcome to Forum @ryngld ! Dont be put off by our acerbic welcome, but really KK is one of the top blokes here
My advice for the future, ask this sort of question before you make plans to meet with someone. Just my 2 cents. As for buying from George, I've purchased two watches from him and both times were great experiences. Straight forward, no pressure, great watches.
Bought a '67 Speedy from him a few months back. Did not have the ability to meet face-to-face, but he provided me with a lot of info via PMs/ emails. No issues whatsoever with the transaction or watch. And I would not hesitate to buy from him again.
You realise that you now HAVE to post a picture of both of them next to each other, right? I'd be snappy about it too, some of the people around here carry bats
I dealt with Kringkily when I bought my first Omega. Indeed, my first expensive watch and first time not purchasing from a store. I had absolutely no issues and he answered all my questions quickly. He's a very easy person to work with and I know I'm only one of hundreds of people who would share the same feedback.
I have purchased 4 Speedmasters from George and he helped out with the shipping of another Speedmaster from a fellow member. You can't go wrong and George will give you all the help you need, you would be hard pressed to find anybody better.
Bought my 145.022 from George. He's wonderful. Looking forward to buying MORE from him in the future!
One of the primary guidelines for buying a watch: "Buy the seller". Sellers don't get any better that George - period!
