Received from my non-local watchmaker today with some other watches as well. Caliber 351, gold cap over stainless. Wish the dial were better, but it's original and I can't see its flaws without a loupe anyways.

This is another US-market watch with 11/16" between the lugs. Two-tone bracelet was common with gold-cap over stainless according to an Omega representative I spoke with two decades ago.

Here's hoping it keeps good time for a watch that was basically worn out.

Congrats. The two tone bracelet works well for this one. What numbers are the end pieces?

I believe it should have the bell crown rather than clover one.

    The end pieces are #11.

As for the crown... possibly. I've not yet been able to determine with any accuracy which watch should have which crown. This is what I could get for new, not used.

    Should be a 353. Not 351.

Normally, a 355 is found in a 2757 snap case back.
If you find a 355 in a 2627, it can be a late batch that I can read on your case back 2627_8.

    I have 6 353's movements and they range from 12.0XX.XXX to 13.4XX.XXX.

Looks like yours is a late 353 and correct for a 2757.
And unusual doesn't mean incorrect :)
