    Dear All,
Can I kindly ask You about help in recognising the Omega model? I have some doubts,as it is somehow similar to "Flat Jedi" and has signed 145.024 on the cover, but could be not the primary one. The Seamaster font looks like the older one,I found on this forum that it was used to early 60s. There is no "Swiss made" signing, which makes me confused a little bit. I am not an Omega expert already,so would be great if You could help me with the model and also what is the value of this watch.
    Thank You in advance,
    Kris

Got a feeling this is what your dial should look like

The same is mine,so that's why I ask - You think the dial was changed?

Thanks! Do You think it is original one from different model or some replica?

All speculation on my part : seeing as the case is badly polished (but appears original - I may be wrong, I have never studied this particular model) I can only imagine the original dial was butchered at some point, and was most likely refinished. I can’t imagine why anyone would make a new dial that fits the movement perfectly, but looks wrong.

Thanks! My idea was that that the case cover was changed and taken from 145.024,just because the dial really fits and looks solid... absolutely, there are some puzzles to match and the more opinions I have from You here, the closer to truth we are ;)

I don’t have much experience with this model in particular but I have a strong gut feeling about this dial was repainted/redone at some point in time.

Compare the font of the subdials with the font of the silver dial below. Eeek.

Also IMO Omega would never release a dial with digits of the scale partially covered by applied indexes. It is very disturbing to my eyes.

Surely there's no question here? The dial has simply been repainted. Look at the sub dials, the hashes and numbers are too thick and crude to be original.

Also hour and minute hands were painted white at the lume track, to somehow match the new design.
