I am OCD when keeping my watches telling perfect time.
But here is a nit pick I have
I have an electronic GE wall clock , a Seiko wall clock and some quartz watches
    Timex, citizen.
When I set them all perfectly lining up the second hand, In a day or two the seconds of all the watches
are off. Some ahead some behind
BUT The hr hand is still lined up !!
    How can this be ?

    Do you have health care?

If so, ask your doctor for alprazolam. It's the generic version of Xanax.

The hour hand CAN NOT BE LINED UP on all watches if the seconds hands are not synchronised.

If you get a 40X microscope and measure the relative positional differences between the tips of the hour hands, you will find that they may be out of alignment by up to 100µm, or even 200µm (Micrometres), but usually no more than that.

I used to worry about it too, but now I just use "The Scottish Medication" whenever then need to compare the hour hand accuracy on my 125 or so watches starts to tingle in the OCD lobe.

I can recommend "The Singleton 12YO Spey Cascade" for a mild case of "Hour Hand Anxiety", or try "The MacAllan 25YO" if you start to notice the hour hands actually "ticking".

I have a better cure Jim: buy watches that don't have a seconds hand.

Or have watchmaker remove the second hand at next service.

I have a better cure. Look at your phone or using digital clock- but that will be lame.

My grandfather had several anniversary clocks about the house, that chimed. He got them all service, synchronized them, but unfortunately after a few days all the clocks throughout the house no longer chimed at the same instant.

He solved the problem by selling some and turning off the chimes on all but one.
