Keep the Ultraman?

What were you initially drawn to when you got the watch and do you still feel that way? If not, just sell it.

If you're on the fence, just wait it out for new releases and then make a move.

They are a grand higher than elsewhere. Don’t believe the WF price - it will sell for less than that. In the U.K. they are going for 6 grand in the usual places (vintage speedmaster had one for 6,300).

I'm visiting Australia and I just bought a BNIB Ultraman for AUD 11,400 which equates to about 6,325 pounds today. They seem to be trading in this range, always subject to supply and demand. No one knows the future, buy it if you like it.

I've had a similar dilemma but at the end of the day, it's the nicest modern LE imo so I'm keeping mine!

Sell it and make somebody happy who wanted one and did not get one.

Hello everybody,

I own a SpeedyTuesday Ultraman and a normal Speedmaster Prof. too. Most of the time I wear the normal Moonwatch or my Seamaster.
I am really unsure if I keep the Ultrman or if I sell it and will have a look what will come this year with Cal. 321.

I don´t will sell the normal Speedmaster, because it´s from the birthyear of my son. ;-)

Looking forward to your thoughts about it?

Best

Alex
If you want to ditch your Ultraman give me a shout. I was really gutted to miss out on one at the release !!

Some people who like it,were not able to buy the watch, because of the people who didn't like it and purchased it, just because it was a LE Speedy.
Playing simple,if you don't like-sell it.

Alex i wouldn’t sell any of the two if I were you. I was not able to get hold of Ultraman and feel pity for that as it is beautiful to behold. Investment wise Ultraman is a piece you would never lose money on. Stay put.

I will hold the watch. It's growing on me a lot. So it's a keeper for me. 😀

Sometimes it does take time😉

I think that's a wise choice, it's a very compelling piece.

You have bi-polar wristwatch affliction.

Currently it appears the ST2 has dropped to MSRP plus tax. Will it go up in a year? Who knows.
Because bought mostly by flippers many of whom are now "panicking" because the profits are not coming as fast as expected...lol

The real question here seems to be, are you a dreamer, a thinker, a speculative philosopher or…. an idiot. The utterly inordinate amounts of time you spend mulling over the value added to your watch (or not) by a splinter of raw carrot suggest that you are experiencing the subconscious effects of resistance. The closer you are to doing the right thing, the more you will resist doing it. As any electronics engineer knows you can simply half the resistance by putting two similar resistors in parallel, ergo you need to by an additional Ultraman (one for each wrist) before being able to sell them both. But watch out that your wife doesn’t stuff you into the Total Perspective Vortex first.

Personally I’d keep it, it really hasn’t been on the market that long. Cool to own 👍

I never can understand people asking if they should keep or sell a watch. That's like asking whether they should marry a blonde or brunette. Choose what you like, not what strangers like.
Or more like, should I stay with my girlfriend or leave? If she gives you happiness, marry her. If not, why bother. Plenty of fish in the sea 😀
