Over the past two weeks, I have worn the FOIS on its strap, and a Speedy '57 reissue on a retro-fitted 1171. They're both okay, but I really enjoy how the spring ends in the flat-link bracelets so effectively accommodate changes in wrist movements, and temperature fluctuations. It rarely slides down and irritates the ulna styloid bump, and despite its reputation, the only hairs I am consistently losing are on my head. While I seem to give other straps and bracelets their time in the rotation, I keep coming back to this one, and wonder if maybe it will be for a longer stretch.
