    Hi Guys

I'm looking at purchasing a 311.30.42.30.01.005 in my area. It is without the OEM bracelet. The pictogram lacks stamps on it. Can anyone with a keen eye pick anything else out, to know if its real? $_59 (5).JPG $_59 (4).JPG $_59 (3).JPG $_59 (2).JPG $_59 (1).JPG

Seems high... you can get a brand new or slightly used with the box and goodies for that with a bracelet.

This one is just a modern luminova hesalite crystal on a not very expensive strap. Looks like maybe lizard... but a wierd color that’s not going to do the watch any favors.

If I remember well, there are two cards supplied with the modern Speedmasters - I believe this card in not the one which would have the stamps. Is the second card part of the deal or is it missing?

Price is definitely high for what you’re getting ... or what you’re not getting

I should mention I was speaking in Canadian $. I’ve got it down to 1850 USD. Would that make it more appealing or pass? I will ask about the second card.

That seems more in the ballpark to me given what's missing.

    My questions would be:

What happened to the rest of the stuff that it was supplied with from the factory (including either the original bracelet or strap that it would have been wearing in the shipping coffin, along with the tags and cards)?

    It's not... warm... is it?

Doesn't it have the tag in the 2nd to last pic?

It has a tag... you can't tell from the picture if it has the same serial (or any) as the watch though.

The way these ship from Omega to AD/OB is in a plastic shipping coffin with the watch on either strap/bracelet, the hang tag clips into the top of the coffin, the cards clip in to the bottom of the coffin.

This is also how OBs (and I'd guess ADs) store watches in their safes.

I just find it weird that the things it definitely would have shipped with from Switzerland are missing... the box I could forget about... but the bracelet/strap? The second card?

Probably sold originally by a grey market dealer.

True - but that should be a simple check no? - the serial should be stamped on the case?

Agree on the box - I'm actually okay with the strap not being there - the 2nd card - yeah that's slightly odd - but I forget, what's the 2nd card... the guarantee card?

Could well be... looks to still be brand new though?

Do you think they'd strip whatever strap/bracelet was fitted to it, just to squeeze out a few more $/£/¥/€ somewhere along the line?

    It should.

It's just got my spidey senses tingling... feels illogical that someone would remove the factory strap/bracelet from a brand new watch, fit the crappy looking thing that's on there, and then put it up for sale.

Yep, second card is the warranty card.

Pictorgram card also has the serial - so if the pictogram card/watch/tag match, you at least know they go together... if not much else.

Might be worth asking for the serial, and then googling it... just to see if anything comes up.

This is by far the best forum! If everything checks out is $1850 reasonable without the strap? What model comes with that wood looking box?

$1850 USD is very low if it's not stolen/fake.

The strap, buckle, and box are not made by Omega.

Is this for sale at a dealer/bricks and mortar establishment?

No its a local guy in my city with an ad. Once I get the serial # I imagine I just phone it into Omega? Should tell me if its stolen or fake?

I think you need to ask him some questions:

1 - Where did it come from?
2 - How long has he had it?
3 - What happened to the box, warranty card, bracelet/strap?
4 - Does he have a retail receipt for it?
5 - Why is he selling it?
