What a bargain at a discount of $ 1K!! And the special unadjusted chronometre! The applied Omega logo looks to be crooked.

Every piece is genuine, but none of them belong together

So, all Constellations (as per the dial and observatory on the caseback) are certified chronometers. All chronometer movements say so on the bridge, see here
    [IMG]
You can see the text "adjusted... Positions.... Temperatures..."

In the OPs photos, the rotor clearly says "unadjusted". So clearly this movement doesn't belong in this watch. I also think the original watch is actually missing the bridge (experts, pls confirm).

The different shades in the movement may indicate (but there is some disputes about this) that the various parts came from different watches (as they appear to have aged differently).

    The dial is also repainted.

The printing on the dial seems a little faint---gray rather than black. Is that the clue that it's a repaint?

Ignoring the bad re-dial, the Cal. 471 was a 19 jewel movement that they changed to 20 jewels in 1956. I don't think it was chronometre rated. At the least, the oscillating weight is from something else - 470?

OVDB states the 2802 as a Seamaster de Luxe and they are not usually THAT wrong, but at least a 471 is the correct movement for that case reference. So the dial printing doesn't belong with this watch and neither does the medallion.

If it has just been serviced, I hope that was the "before" photo.

Is there anything right about this watch?

But it has an observatory caseback? That shouldn't be on a Seamasters deluxe?

A little bit of work on the lathe - 15 to 20 minutes tops - and the medallion would pop straight in.

That movement is not right. It is possibly fake or from a different Omega, no serial or cal numbers. Omega watch wording company does not look correct. The movement looks so different to real ones I hake seen. Sorry very busy last week and will be for the next two weeks. Have many medical assessments to do. Only had a quick look no time for to much homework on this at moment.

It hurts::facepalm2:: it is easier to say what is right than what is wrong with this watch
