Dear all respectable members, I just came back from Omega museum in Bienne. What a wonderful trip. I took tons of pictures, with average quality using my tablet and point and shoot camera. I plan to write down an article on that trip, but being inexperienced writer I am not sure how long it should be before I bored all respectable members in here. Any input will be highly appreciated.
One to four paragraphs per picture, depending on how important the information that accompanies the picture is. While some of us might have short attention spans, most here are adults and are interested in reading quality material.
Looking forward to meeting with you Alex..... You could help me sort out which pictures should we share.....
Omega minute repeater Stunning Neptune cloissone dial seamaster Wonderful 352 Constellation cloissone dial Pristine black waffle seamaster
Interesting... I wonder if that Neptune could have been the one that sold at Christies recently... Omega definitely has deep enough pockets to pay $250K for a cloisonne
Well, we could cross check with the Christies picture. IIRC no cloissone colors is 100 % same due to individual technique applied by the artist.
Just checked, they're different, the Christies one had Chronometer automatic at the bottom instead of automatic
Just how uncommon are those black dial date-at-6 Seamasters? It's on my list, but finding one - let alone a sharp one - isn't exactly easy.
You might have an easier time buying something from the Museum than trying to convince Steve to sell...
Dennis and Kyle had one (Kyle I believe had 2) and cast them off. Dennis's came originally from Adam in Chicago.
