Hi, I just got this in the mail today. I could not wait to try it on. After reading so much online about how overwhelming the watch can look on one's wrist I admit I was concerned. I did want a very large watch as my wrist is between 81/2 and 8 1/2 inches. I was still worried about it...and then I tried it on. It looks large but not overwhelmingly so. Anything smaller than 43mm looks quite small on my wrist. in fact this is why I have not purchased a few vintage Omega watches. The 34mm case size just looks tiny on my wrist. I do wish I could wear them however. I have seen quite a fe nice 56X Seamasters I would love to own.

Anyway, I am very happy with my one and only Omega watch. (Only one so far that is)

 

I love the XXL. Problem is, it does not go well with my 6.75" wrist.

 

That looks well sized on your wrist. Congratulations!

 

8.5" wrist...pretty sure you could pull off a manhole cover just fine.

You are one of the few people that can pull off that beast...congrats
