I am from the UK, they know me on the Vintage Omega forum.

Just purchased and it should be with me next week a Seamaster Professional 300 from Watchfinder in the UK, they deal in pre owned and are an Omega approved service centre as well. Watch is a year old with black face and has two years Omega manufacturers warranty left, box and papers. This is great as I used to own a 2004 Seamaster and for some stupid reason sold it years ago and regreted it ever since.

I will post pics when I get it.

    Kind Regards

    Pat

Thanks. It was a hard choice between the black or blue one but I went for black in the end.

Hope you got it for a good price and haggled hard with them, I found them very overpriced due to their location in central London :)

Got it for £2, 150. That is £610 off the price of a new one, it is 2014 black face with 2 years Omega warranty left. They are an Omega authorised service centre, this gave me a lot of confidence.

Thanks. It doesn't need one for 4 years . It would of been an idea to haggle for a free service for 2019 lol. They had other seamasters there for £250 more but had been 6 months old not a year old. No point spending that extra so far so good. The person before me had a smaller wrist, the size is 41 mm however they had some links taken out. The service dept are putting the full set of links in, I will not need them but you never know for the future.

Just seen your seamaster very nice. What colour dial was your preference?

Sounds like yours is a good buy as you got the links and I'm sure the box and paperwork. I looked at the Planted Oceans and really liked the Orange bezel one but my wife vetoed that she said it was garish !!!
I then saw the PO titanium in blue and fell in love with it, I looked at one in watchfinder as I work in London but they only had a large one 45mm mine is the smaller 42 and ended up going to Leicester and buying it got a really good deal just short of £1000 off list price.

It's the ceramic version, isn't it? I have the earlier one with wavy dial and aluminium bezel, which, IMO, is one of the best deal in the used market for divers. The black version of the ceramic bezeled one is far better looking than the blue one, so I think you chose wisely ;)

Black dial, Black ceramic bezel on my new seamaster.

I had a Seamaster, black wave dial with aluminium bezel purchased new in 2004. I stupidly sold it two years after in 2006, what an idiot. Yes the older model has very good resale. The new model is finding it's way, but will get there.

They are sending it to me early next week, box and papers with 2 years of omega warranty left as it is a year old. Yes the orange bezel is nice but an aquired taste, I like it. £1000 short on list is a great deal.

Congratulations! I bought this watch, with a blue dial, about six weeks ago and I have enjoyed it a great deal. It is really a beautiful watch and a fine Omega offering.

The decision between the black and blue dial was very hard to make. Very hard lol. Congratulations on your watch, mine arrives next week can't wait.

Why don't you try PO-style curved rubber straps? The curved ends won't fit perfectly, but it's 20mm lug width. I do this for my Speedy Pro
