The engraving on it looks wrong to me (note, comparing to the near-identical bracelet on my wrist!).

On mine, the JIG and 11 are IDENTICAL in depth/width/etc to the rest of engraving, on yours it seems both lighter engraving and thinner engraving.

ALSO, the STZ number on mine is identical, EXCEPT yours has an additional '1' at the end. (STZ013899 vs STZ0138991). Otherwise the engraving characters are the same.

EDIT: Other than the engraving photo looking suspicious (though not conclusive!), it seems dead on.

Thanks for your input. My concerns are that I'm not well versed with the Omega speedy reps out there and I didn't buy from the AD so I don't know how good the replica one's are. Picked it up from pre-owned from someone local and they said it came from their speedy as they wear it on a rubber strap. From my research it seems the Speedy hasn't been repped well unlike the sports Rolexes. I took a punt and saved myself few bucks.
Just wanted some help to reassure/confirmation if it was real. If fake then probably easier to try get my money back sooner than later.

This is actually really helpful. I had to get the engraving in different angles as it was quite difficult with the light. There is no "1" at the end. It's just an artefact in the picture from the light. I'll add a pic. Thank you for taking the time for such a thorough comparison. I appreciate it. You are the man!
