Oh, nice! I love them wrappers on those. Very elegant.

I prefer my York peppermint patties though.

If I were an oddsmaker in Vegas you would have been my even money choice to chime in as you did. :p I'm usually a dark chocolate fan myself (70% cocoa or more) but something just made my hand grab these. Probably had something to do with the 2fer sale at CVS also.

Those look suspiciously like wafer thin mints and we know where that leads:-

Oh lots more good chocolate outside of Switzerland really. Just like watches, many other options besides the Swiss.

Off the top of my head
    - from France (Cluizel, Pralus, Valrhona and many more)
    - from Belgium (Pierre Marcolini)
    - from Italy (Amedei)
    - from the USA (Dandelion, Amano, Ritual, Askinosie, and many more)
    - even from Iceland (Omnom is not bad!)

I've been offered this vintage Baklava with tropical dial. Unfortunately the crystal has been missing for many years so the hands have fallen off and the "dial" has suffered somewhat, do you think it's worth restoring or is it just another Timepiece Without A Title that I should break for spares? image.jpeg

Are you sure that's authentic? That pattern makes it look like the Pennsylvania Dutch made it.

The seller claims it's a Star Baklava, but I suspect it's just a generic T.W.A.T.

I believe it's a prototype made by the little-known Pennsylvania Greeks.
