Purchased this yesterday at an estate sale. Thinking about taking it in and having a leather band replace the one on there......Lugs and back look clean and when you gently move the watch back and forth...the sweeping second hand takes off.....Is it a goody or just run of the mill?

 

It is good that the second hand moves. It is most likely a bumper automatic movement. Unfortunately the dial looks to be redone as the lettering is not straight. It looks as if the letters are falling off they are so off alignment. Here is an example of just what the lettering should look like, ignore the rest of my watch. More information can be found from the number on the inside of the case back. Hopefully one of the more knowledgable members can give you more information.
