So, its no surprise that my watch collection has grown quite significantly recently (as anybody following my posts will know). My wife just found them all...... ::facepalm2::

Shoes, man, remember to remind her about all her shoes....

Prayers go out to you. Remember, there are skilled surgeons who can reattach them...

Possibly, but I'm sure she'll use it to make knuckle sandwiches. :p

    That's my favourite response!
I'm at work now, have spoken to her, but lets see what happens when I get home.

Mmm... I was in your shoes 2 weeks ago when my fiancé stumbled upon my growing collection. I told her; they were an investment, I purchased them below cost (relative term), and that they were for resale purposes - at a date to be named later... Most likely post mortem.

That's why you shouldn't hide things from your wife. Mine has bought a few of mine for me. :)

"Honey, I was lonely and feeling so sorry for myself, I fleetingly thought about a hooker or a stripper, but...but I just had too much respect for you.
I cried out silently.......and tried to fill this void in my heart....... I tried to replace your beauty... that makes my heart ache so...with baubles and trinkets and senseless symbols of the true meaning of my life...... my love for you...".

Should be good for 3 or 4 more watches

    That really suits your avatar!

The next issue is I've got another on the way, and a couple away being serviced....

However, I have been trying to talk her into letting me buy a watch for her, so its not like I haven't been trying to spread the love.

    You're going home??????

    Tonight?????

    ::rant:::rant:::rant:::rant:::rant:::rant:::rant:

You'd be better off running into a brick wall and then when you get home, describe how you were injured helping to save a puppy from a drain.

Heroic effort, an injury and a PUPPY!

    Women just love that stuff!

You'll be on the sympathy wagon before you know it.

    We hope.............

well I didn't get home until 11:30pm last night (the work of a public servant is never done), so I think I should try and get home at a reasonable time tonight.

Please note. This could well be the last post by respectable member CanberraOmega. May he rest in peace.

Well you already got caught hiding the watches from her, what's she going to think about these long evenings away from home? Think she's going to buy your line of public servant work? :D
