Great guy to deal with if you are looking for a speedy and a great deal. This was my first time buying from the firms and he made me feel comfortable and answer all my questions prior to purchase. A great classic, one of the most iconic watches ever, dear Nima. Enjoy.

I will wait until general service, but mine still has only very very small, minor scratches. You have to really look for them, to see one. My own "problem" is how to clean properly the bracelet, its inner parts, the joints.

Good choice, an absolute classic (car too, unless it's a Carerra ;)).

You could clean your crystal with Polywatch every two months or so if needed, otherwise leave it until service date.

My Speedie was a daily wearer and the bracelet got a lot of dirt/sweat etc over time.

As it wasn't a safe queen, I used to put it (ONLY THE BRACELET) on the top shelf of the dishwasher about every three to six months. Dry it off with soft compressed air or a hair dryer and ready for another tour of duty.

This would be a nice idea, dear Jim, thanks for suggesting. But I don't know how to separate the watch from the bracelet and don't want to risk to damage it, handling it improperly.
