i have been admiring the Seamaster Planet Ocean in titanium for a while. Broke down and bought one on vacation (sales tax was lower, I had to do it). Any insight or guidance for a first time Omega owner? I have been wearing a Tag for many years.

Congrats and just watch it to ensure nothing out of the ordinary. If you notice something wrong, take it to the nearest boutique with your warranty card and get it taken care of while you still have warranty.

Congrats - that was my story as well. Long-time Tag wearer, saw several Omegas over the years at an AD while vacationing in the Bahamas, and finally broke down this year and bought one. PO is next on my list.
