Only one is technically an Omega, but just got these back from the shop today. The first is a Bulova Ambassador ca ~1965 with the Bulova branded micro-rotor movement. This is essentially a Buren 1322, which if I understand correctly was the first production micro rotor of the 60s. As a matter of fact, more popular micro rotors such as the UG Polerouter ended up in litigation with Buren for patent violation. I asked the watchmaker to keep cost low on this one since it is a relatively low value watch, so he opted to retain and polish the original crystal despite a few fractures. The Omega is a KM 6610 (I think) in 14k gold with a cal 560 movement. This is a non-quickset date with the paper clip S, ca. 1962. Thanks for looking!
A very nice pair! Sorry to derail your thread but just noticed your username matches the Reg of my plane: Wasn’t me that made this imperfect landing btw!
I was happy to find it. I have seen this model in a few configurations. With date, without date, no seconds hand... This one happens to be cal 12EBACD (date, center seconds, domed dial). It features a silver seconds track around the outside of the dial, which I haven't seen before, It is also a screw back case, which many of these watches are in front-opening "monocoque" cases. The best part is they're $80 on ebay all day. You'll spend twice as much on a service, but I did so happily.
